What will you learn on this course?

This module looks at preparing for problems, how to identify problems and the troubleshooting process. This knowledge, along with the basic knowledge of GC & GC-MS acquired on previous modules are then put to the test in exercises on troubleshooting chromatograms.

Learning outcomes

  • You will learn the logical steps of instrument troubleshooting.
  • You will learn how to break the instrument down into modules and how to troubleshoot each module.
  • You will learn how to examine chromatograms, identify any problems seen and then determine which part of the instrument could be the cause and gain practical experience of this process.

Who is this course for?

Before attending this course you should have a good knowledge of gas chromatography and the techniques covered in the Complete GC & GC-MS.

How does the virtual classroom training work?

You will be provided with a link to access the virtual classroom and the training course will be presented live at the scheduled time through video conferencing. You will have the opportunity to ask questions during the live course. Feedback from previous attendees of Virtual Classroom course

"Great insight for things to look out for. Problem examples at the end were great as using real examples to build on knowledge from courses."  May 2022.
