Diane Turner, Director of Anthias Consulting Ltd, will present a session on "A Matter of Taste... Flavour Profiling by GCxGCMS" at the upcoming "Advances in GC Technology" meeting scheduled to take place at the Runcorn Conference Centre, Cheshire, on 9th November 2011.
This meeting follows the succes of the initial 2009 meeting and is organised by The Chromatographic Society and the North West Region of the Analytical Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
GC is still technique of choice for analysing both volatile and semi volatile compounds, but as we move to more complex and difficult matrices, much is now being asked of the technique in terms of separation and limits of detection.
The meeting sets out to look at separation/detection solutions along with case studies from the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and environmental areas. The program has been designed to give attendee’s an idea of the potential of GC for both routine and problem solving analysis.
The event has been jointly sponsored by Agilent Technologies and Thermo Scientific.
