Anthias Consulting has initiated a strategic relationship with SRI Instruments to provide training and consultancy for their range of GCs. Anthias Consulting Ltd. will take the lead in providing the training to external organisations after it facilitated the opening of the demonstration and training facility with the Applied Science and Technology Group (ASTG) of The Open University.
SRI Instruments manufacture and provide affordable, robust, and portable instrumentation and data systems, for lab and field use. They also specialise in custom built instruments with a choice of 16 detector types, 12 injector types, and various accessories.
Stuart Pattinson, from Anthias Consulting along with Dr. Morgan, ASTG director, received the SRI Instrument’s new 8610C Gas Chromatograph-Flame Ionisation Detector (GC-FID) in September 2012.
Mr Pattinson said, “We are delighted to work with SRI on their range of GCs. It has been interesting to see the compact design and unique design features of the new instrument. The instrument was easy to install and simple to use. We look forward with working with ASTG and SRI by providing training and consultancy on these instruments.“
Dr. Morgan stated “the arrival of the SRI Instrument signifies a new chapter in ASTG’s Demonstration and Training Facility, enabling us to offer the UK analytical community with expertise that covers the full range of instruments, suppliers and budgets available.”
