Our scheduled training course calendar for January – April 2021 is now available! View the calendar.

Our live virtual classroom courses will run throughout January to April, with courses for all experience levels and covering a range of techniques including gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, sample preparation, techniques used in the analysis of physical and structural properties of molecules, spectroscopy, methods and statistical analysis.

We have also added some new courses for 2021 including training in sample preparation for GC-MS and LC-MS and advanced injection techniques for GC & GC-MS. These cover all the steps and processes of analysis, the various parameters that can be optimised and how to maintain each technique on an instrument, along with problems commonly encountered.

All our scheduled courses can be booked online – see all upcoming dates.

Since launching our online courses in April 2020, we have had highly positive feedback on the layout and interactivity of our virtual classroom:

"The structure, being able to access the powerpoint, the presenter, having examples of the equipment to see."

"The Adobe Connect is very clear and good to deliver online training in terms of the sound and seeing the instructor as well as viewing the content of the course material."

"Just to say that the Adobe Connect platform generally worked well, good to see the countdown timer for breaks, great to be able to ask questions in various ways, without interrupting the flow of the delivery (verbally, hand raising/typing etc)."

"It was much more engaging. Seeing examples of parts of instruments was really useful and the interactive chromatogram troubleshooting was really useful."

On our live virtual classroom training courses, delegates can ask questions at any time and have them answered in real time before moving on to the next topic or slide, making the training highly interactive. Questions can be asked by microphone or by typing into the Q&A box or chat feed. Delegates can also follow up with the trainer on any questions which come to mind following the training, perhaps once they have returned to the lab to apply the knowledge. We recognise the flexible working patterns many of our customers are working to and have scheduled a range of time formats to support this – some courses take place during full days or weeks and others are split over multiple dates.

If you cannot make the date for your chosen course or if you need the training sooner than the scheduled date, many of our online courses are available On-demand for maximum convenience – see our full list of On-demand courses.

We can also arrange virtual classroom training just for you, fully tailored to meet the needs and the level of experience of you and your colleagues. This can be fully online; or we also offer a blended learning programme combining online virtual classroom training followed by onsite training on your instrumentation. Contact us to find out more and discuss your requirements.
